SUSE has an in-house translations created by contracted translators in past. The work flow did not allow to merge translations between openSUSE and SLE trees up to now. It caused translation divergence. SLE Merge Robot is an output of the merge effort, and “suggests” to use SLE translation. Please review carefully, and keep standard terminology used in your language.

Initial import of yast was created from the community translations, but strings actually missing in the community translation were taken from the contracted SUSE Linux Enterprise translations. These translations are mixed in Weblate. If you are interested in the SUSE Linux Enterprise translations import review, go to <ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/sbrabec/yast-translations-sle-contributions/>

Try Leap Micro in VMs running on either <a href="https://www.suse.com/c/happened-kernel-xen/">Xen</a> or KVM. Using a Raspberry Pi or other System on Chip hardware may use the preconfigured image. Both preconfigured and self-installed images are intended to be used with <a href="https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:MicroOS/Combustion">Combustion</a> written to a USB, which is driven to allow configuration on any first boot, with the option for default password protected changes.

MicroOS offers an offline image. The main difference between the offline and self-install/raw images are that the offline image has an installer. Raw and self-install allows for customization via combustion or manually in the image after it is written to the disk. There is an option for a real-time kernel.

Leap Micro no longer comes with a traditional installer, users shall use Self-install media instead.
The new Packages Image is just an offline dump of Leap Micro rpm repository for those with isolated enviornment.

The new self-install image is the goto choice for USB or DVD based installations.
A simple self-install wizard dumps a preconfigured image to the drive, and grows the partition to the size of the disk.

Users with Raspberry Pi and similar without usb-boot support can directly write the pre-conifgured image to the SD card.
