desktop-file-translations is deprecated. This component is permanently locked for new translations, and the translation upstreaming effort started in openSUSE Factory. It will be removed in the future.

desktop-file-translations/update-desktop-files-screensavers is a set of translations, that allows to completely translate the all screensaver desktop files, even if the upstream does not support desktop translation or translation is incomplete. Its benefit/cost ratio is very low, as none of major desktops uses screensaver hacks nowadays. It would be better to join upstream translation effort instead!

Cloud-like patterns. The idea is to take four points on the edge of the image, and assign each a random "elevation". Then find the point between them, and give it a value which is the average of the other four, plus some small random offset. Coloration is done based on elevation. Converts an image to triangles using Delaunay tessellation, and animates the result at various depths. More triangles are allocated to visually complex parts of the image. This is accomplished by first computing the first derivative of the image: the distance between each pixel and its neighbors (which is essentially edge detection or embossing).
